Regular Season Round 13: Amager - SISU 80-57

Very significant was Amager's (#2, 7-3) victory against 3rd placed SISU (3-6) 80-57. The game was mostly controlled by Amager. SISU managed to win third quarter 19-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by SISU's players. The former international guard Ena Viso (177-93, college: S.Dakota St.) stepped up with a triple-double by scoring 12 points, 17 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals for the winners and American swingman Teja Twitty (178, college: UNCG) chipped in 22 points and 13 rebounds. Four Amager players scored in double figures. At the losing side Josefine Haabegaard (180-99) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and the former international point guard Asta Blauenfeldt (168-2) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. SISU's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Amager maintains second place with 7-3 record having just three points less than leader Falcon. SISU lost third consecutive game. They keep the third position with six games lost. Amager will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. SISU will play at home against Aabyhoj and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
