Very expected game in Sakiai where Delikatesas was crushed by Vytis 103-78. Strangely Delikatesas outrebounded Vytis 46-33 including 35 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Marijus Uzupis (197-93) nailed 25 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and Karolis Kokoska (196-92) accounted for 22 points and 8 rebounds. American Donnell Cegers (197-93, college: NMU) came up with 23 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import Darion Rackley (187-92, college: JSU) added 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Delikatesas in the defeat. Five Vytis and four Delikatesas players scored in double figures. Vytis will play against Neptunas-Akv. in Klaipeda in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Delikatesas will play at home against Kretinga and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
