The game between closely ranked teams ended with thirteenth ranked Bergedorf's (6-11) home victory over 14th ranked Bramsche (5-13) 65-53 on Saturday. Strangely Bramsche outrebounded Bergedorf 52-40 including 17 on the offensive glass. Croatian Matej Jelovcic (185-98) had a triple-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Aleksandar Postic (195-0) chipped in 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Bergedorf players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American center Cole Walker (206, college: Ferris St.) with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and center Lukas Spanke (204-87) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. Bramsche's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Bergedorf have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to twelfth place in North. Bramsche lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth position with 13 games lost. Bergedorf will meet higher ranked Berlin BG 2000 (#7) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
