Very expected game when 14th ranked Bensheim (4-12) was rolled over on the road by fifth ranked Kronberg (9-5) 88-66 on Saturday. Kronberg shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Naturalized Eritrean forward Jonathan Mesghna (198-89, college: MSUB) scored 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Tim Steiner (186-92) chipped in 16 points during the contest. Five Kronberg players scored in double figures.
