Regular Season Round 19: Wedel - TKS 49ers 80-75

Very important is a road loss of second ranked TKS 49ers (9-7) against fifth ranked Rist Wedel (9-5) on Sunday night. Visiting TKS 49ers were defeated by Rist Wedel in a tough game in Wedel 75-80. TKS 49ers were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Jordan Walker (184-97, college: Morehead St.) who helped to win the game recording 31 points. Croatian Martin Jelic (198-99) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Yannick Hildebrandt (195-97) answered with 19 points and 6 rebounds and Sebastian Fuelle (192-92) added 16 points in the effort for TKS 49ers. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Rist Wedel moved-up to second place in North. TKS 49ers at the other side dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with Schwelm. Rist Wedel will play against league's leader Muenster on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. TKS 49ers will play against Dragons Rhoendorf and hope to get back on the winning track.
