The game between closely ranked teams ended with 11th ranked Arvato College Wizards' (3-13) road loss to tenth ranked Rackelos (5-11) 83-104 on Sunday. Rackelos looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for Tim Uhlemann (203-99) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points and 9 rebounds. The former international Johannes Lischka (203-87) helped adding 21 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Rackelos' coach Patrick Unger felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American power forward Thomas Bruce (205-7, college: Binghamton, agency: Players Group) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Abdulai Abaker (185-96) scored 18 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Rackelos maintains tenth place in South with 5-11 record. Loser Arvato College Wizards keep the eleventh position with 13 games lost. Rackelos will meet at home higher ranked Loewen (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Arvato College Wizards will play against the league's second-placed Koblenz (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
