There was no surprise when 3rd ranked Leverkusen (6-5) was outplayed at home by top-ranked ALBA Berlin (9-0) 85-62 on Sunday. ALBA Berlin dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Leverkusen's 26 and made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. ALBA Berlin forced 19 Leverkusen turnovers. The best player for the winners was point guard Elias Rapieque (200-4) who scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Jannis Berger (203-4) chipped in 19 points.
