Second Stage Round 1: DYUSCH-12 - SDYUSHOR 68-86

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kyiv: SDYUSHOR and DYUSCH-12. DYUSCH-12 was crushed at home by 18 points 68-86 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. The game was mostly controlled by SDYUSHOR. DYUSCH-12 managed to win third quarter 18-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. SDYUSHOR dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to DYUSCH-12's 32. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Anton Stratov who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds. Dmytro Klymenko contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners. SDYUSHOR's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Oleksiy Smirnov answered with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds and Roman Karibian (-2004) added 21 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists in the effort for DYUSCH-12. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
