An interesting game took place in Bucuresti where higher ranked Steaua B. (7-9) was upset on its own court by fourteenth ranked Galati (5-13) 90-83. The guests were already 15 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 24-16 Steaua B.'s run in the last quarter cut the lead to 90-83 at the end of the game. Jamaican-Canadian point guard Javon Masters (183-94, college: UNB, agency: Blacktop Management) notched 20 points and 5 assists to lead the effort and the former international Marius Ciotlaus (195-96, agency: BIG) supported him with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
