We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when eighth ranked Acibadem (12-9) won against 7th ranked Tofas (12-8) in Bursa 96-78 on Saturday. Croatian forward Tomislav Zubcic (211-90) added 14 points for the hosts. Four Acibadem and five Tofas players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Acibadem maintains eighth position with 12-9 record. Loser Tofas dropped to the sixth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Galatasaray. Acibadem will meet at home Turk Telekom (#10) in the next round. Tofas will play against the league's second-placed Efes (#2) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
