The game in Silute was also quite interesting. 5th ranked Zalgiris II (15-14) played at the court of seventh ranked Silute (14-13). Silute did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 93-76 on Saturday. Silute forced 22 Zalgiris II turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The winners were led by the former international center Valdas Vasylius (202-83, college: ODU) who scored that evening 21 points and 4 assists (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and American Delante Jones (194-95, college: Seattle) supported him with 19 points and 5 rebounds. Even 18 points by Mantas Rubstavicius (198-2) did not help to save the game for Zalgiris II. Forward Emilis Bartninkas (198-4) added 14 points for lost side. Silute moved-up to sixth place. Zalgiris II lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Palanga. Silute will meet Vilkaviskis (#7) on the road in the next round. Zalgiris II will play against the league's leader Suduva-Mantinga and hope to secure a win.
