Regular Season Round 19: Final Spor - Fethiye 76-81

There was a surprise result when fifteenth ranked Fethiye (6-12) won against higher ranked Final Spor (6-12) in Bursa 81-76 on Sunday. It was an exceptional evening for swingman Ogun Sevinc (198-88) who led the winners and scored 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Raquan Mitchell (190-97, college: NMHU) accounted for 18 points and 5 assists for the winning side. Point guard Sabahattin Gondur (185-95) came up with 16 points and 7 assists and forward Gurur Baybora (195-90) added 16 points and 4 assists respectively for Final Spor in the defeat. Four Fethiye and five Final Spor players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Fethiye moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Final Spor. Final Spor lost fifth consecutive game. Fethiye will meet at home higher ranked Antalya (#9) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Final Spor will play against Manisa having rather not much hope for a victory.
