We should mention about the upset which took place in Hanau, where 6th ranked Deisenhofen (8-9) was outleveled in a road game by ninth ranked White Wings (7-10) 80-61. White Wings players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a good game for American swingman JD Tisdale (196-93, college: Rogers St.) who led his team to a victory with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Niklas Krause (198-2) contributed with 11 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Tisdale is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Naturalized American Omari Knox (187-86, college: Bloomfield) answered with 16 points and 7 rebounds and Moritz Noeres (200-0) added 15 points in the effort for Deisenhofen. White Wings maintains ninth place with 7-10 record. Deisenhofen lost their fifth game in a row. They dropped to the seventh position with nine games lost. They share it with Coburg. White Wings will play against higher ranked Skyliners II (#6) in Frankfurt in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Deisenhofen will play on the road against Loewen in Erfurt and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
