There was a surprise result when seventh ranked Bursaspor (7-11) defeated at home higher ranked Galatasaray (12-5) 70-59 on Monday. Mithat Ozalp (-2) scored 23 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Ata Sevilmis (-3) chipped in 19 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Haktan Yavas (201-4) with 16 points and 6 rebounds and Ata Gul (-5) scored 10 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bursaspor maintains seventh position in League with 7-11 record. Loser Galatasaray keeps the third place with five games lost.
