Regular Season Round 15: RasKKSC - Tornado KM 96-64

An interesting game took place in Klaipeda where higher ranked Tornado KM (7-8) was upset on the court of ninth ranked RasKKSC (4-9) 96-64. The game without a history. RasKKSC led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was an exceptional evening for swingman Nojus Vaivada (192-4) who led the winners and scored 38 points (!!!), 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. Point guard Milvydas Nazimovas (182-4) accounted for 14 points and 6 assists for the winning side. Four RasKKSC players scored in double figures. Guard Marius Mazeika (188-5) came up with 19 points and swingman Augustas Gudelevicius (192-4) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Tornado KM in the defeat. Tornado KM's coach Donatas Mikulevicius gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. RasKKSC maintains ninth place with 4-9 record. Tornado KM lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with eight games lost. RasKKSC will play against Saule (#11) in Siauliai in the next round. Tornado KM will play on the road against Panevezio (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
