We should mention about the upset which took place in Copenhagen, where 4th placed Randers (9-5) lost to ninth ranked Copenhagen (5-12) in a road game 114-118. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Randers. Copenhagen forced 22 Randers turnovers and outrebounded them 46-35 including a 20-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists. American power forward Durell Vinson (202-85, college: Wagner) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 22 rebounds. Hannibal Salomon (195-0) contributed with 31 points and 5 assists for the winners. American-Jamaican power forward Reginald Kissoonlal (213-96, college: Marian, IN, agency: One Motive Sports) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 blocks and American guard Josh Fortune (196-94, college: Colorado) added 29 points in the effort for Randers. Four Copenhagen and five Randers players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Copenhagen moved-up to eighth place. Randers at the other side dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. Copenhagen will play against higher ranked Horsens IC (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Randers will play against BAC and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
