Undefeated Falcon (10-1) recorded its first loss on the court of fourth ranked Herlev on Wednesday night. Visitors were edged by Herlev 74-72. It ended at the same time the ten-game winning streak of Falcon. Herlev looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Herlev made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was forward Emilie Larsen (177-1) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists. Canadian forward Brittney Thibeaux (183, agency: Jones Sports International) chipped in 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Herlev players scored in double figures. International power forward Emilie Hesseldal (185-90, college: Colorado St.) produced a double-double by scoring 29 points, 14 rebounds and 9 assists and international guard Elisabeth Brynaa (176-93) added 19 points and 8 steals respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Defending champion maintains fourth position with 4-7 record. Newly promoted Falcon still keeps top place with one game lost.
