There was an upset when higher ranked Leverkusen 2 (11-9) was defeated at home by twelfth ranked Hagen BG (7-11) 91-86 on Friday. Hagen BG dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Leverkusen 2's 18. Hagen BG forced 22 Leverkusen 2 turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Bulgarian Milen Zahariev (190-92) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and Lithuanian forward Vytautas Nedzinskas (196-87) who added 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest.
