There was no surprise in Wildau where 10th ranked WSG Koenigs (7-11) were crushed by second ranked Stade (14-6) 84-63 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of Spanish point guard Nil Angelats (185-93) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Fabien Kondo (205-2) who added 11 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Five Stade players scored in double figures. American Andrew Jones (191-83, college: Miles) responded with 17 points and center Oliver Mackeldanz (211-90) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds. Stade maintains second position in North with 14-6 record having just five point less than leader Stuttgart. Loser WSG Koenigs keep the tenth place with 11 games lost. Stade will meet at home Wolfenbuettel (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. WSG Koenigs will play against Cuxhaven and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
