Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked Yalova (6-15) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Pinar Karsiyaka (14-6) 87-80 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was point guard Tony Taylor (184-1990, college: GWU) who scored 18 points and 6 assists. American Bonzie Colson Jr (198-1996, college: Notre Dame, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 13 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Slovenian point guard Luka Rupnik (186-1993) who recorded a double-double by scoring 10 points and 16 assists and American swingman CJ Williams (196-1990, college: NC State) added 22 points respectively. Five Pinar Karsiyaka and four Yalova players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Pinar Karsiyaka have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 14-6 record. Yalova lost third consecutive game.
