The game between closely ranked teams ended with Jahn Muenchen's (9-4) road victory over Akademie (6-6) 96-72 on Sunday. Jahn Muenchen dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Akademie's 26. Jahn Muenchen forced 21 Akademie turnovers and outrebounded them 46-34 including 35 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was Benjamin Sadikovic (208-3) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds. Vince Pados (191-3) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Dutch Yulian Ramirez (205-3) who recorded 19 points and 9 rebounds and Elijah Ndi (194-4) added 15 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Five Jahn Muenchen and four Akademie players scored in double figures. Jahn Muenchen will meet at home Bonn/Rh. in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Akademie will play against OrangeAcademy in Memmingen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
