Regular Season Round 15: Nord Dragonz - Future Team 81-42

Very expected game when bottom-ranked Future Team (0-12) was smashed by second ranked Nord Dragonz (11-3) in Eisenstadt 81-42 on Sunday. The game without a history. Nord Dragonz led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Future Team to just 7 points in second and fourth quarters. Nord Dragonz forced 29 Future Team turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for forward Lukas Knor (195-1) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds. American guard Kyran McClure (188-96, college: St.Leo) accounted for 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Four Nord Dragonz players scored in double figures. Forward David Voetsch (199-1) came up with 8 points and 10 rebounds and William Emiohe (198-1) added 6 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Future Team in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Nord Dragonz keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Panthers. Newly promoted Future Team still closes the standings with 12 games lost. Nord Dragonz will meet Alligators (#6) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Future Team will play against BBU and hopes to get finally their first victory.
