Regular Season Round 20: Sigortam.net - Mamak 79-62

The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Sigortam.net as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Sigortam.net defeated 5th ranked Mamak in Balikesir 79-62. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Mamak. Sigortam.net had a 32-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The winners were led by American point guard Garrett Sim (188-90, college: Oregon, agency: Octagon Europe) who scored that evening 23 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists and center Ramazan Tekin (214-93) supported him with 15 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Even 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists by American point guard Marlain Veal (175-96, college: SE Louisiana) did not help to save the game for Mamak. His fellow American import center Chance Comanche (211-96, college: Arizona) added 18 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Mamak at the other side dropped to the sixth place with seven games lost. They share the position with OGM Orman. Mamak will play next round against Fethiye trying to get back on the winning streak. Sigortam.net will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Samsun on the road.
