The game with biggest result difference took place in Vilnius. Local Rytas (17-3) outscored 9th ranked Nevezis (5-13) 108-73. Rytas dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Nevezis' 44. They outrebounded Nevezis 46-27 including a 29-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Rytas players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Nevezis' players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Vaidas Kariniauskas (199-93) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points, 5 rebounds and 15 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rytas maintains second position with 17-3 record having just two points less than leader Zalgiris. Nevezis at the other side keeps the ninth place with 13 games lost. Rytas will play against bottom-ranked Prienai CBet (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Nevezis will play against Juventus in Utena and hopes to get back on the winning track.
