An interesting game took place in Craiova where 8th ranked Craiova 2 (2-7) was upset on its own court by eleventh ranked Brasov (2-8) 76-71 on Monday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Craiova 2. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 76-71. The best player for the winners was Mihai Dragusanu who scored 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Ovidiu Stochici (182-95) chipped in 19 points and 8 assists. Four Brasov players scored in double figures. Brasov moved-up to ninth place. Craiova 2 at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eighth position with seven games lost. Brasov will meet higher ranked Oradea 2 (#7) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Craiova 2 will play against Laguna S. in Bucuresti and hope to secure a win.
