Regular Season Round 18: Bursa - Galatasaray 58-55

The most exciting game of round 18 in the KBSL took place in Bursa. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 7th ranked Galatasaray (9-8) to fifth ranked Bursa (11-6) 58-55 on Wednesday evening. Bursa forced 21 Galatasaray turnovers. scored 17 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Romanian forward Claudia Cuic (182-1989) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Bursa's coach Aydin Uguz used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American swingman Kaela Davis (188-1995, college: S.Carolina) with 20 points and 7 rebounds and international guard Pelin Bilgic (175-1994) scored 8 points and 8 assists. Newly promoted Bursa maintains fifth position with 11-6 record. Galatasaray at the other side keeps the seventh place with eight games lost. Bursa are looking forward to face Izmit (#11) in Kocaeli in the next round where they are favorite. Galatasaray will play at home against Hatay (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
