BDSL top team - BK Duchess (11-0) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed eighth ranked KOS (0-10) in Klosterneuburg 80-28. The game without a history. BK Duchess led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding KOS to just 5 points in first quarter. BK Duchess held KOS to an opponent 20.8 percent shooting from the field compared to 41.5 percent accuracy of the winners. BK Duchess forced 20 KOS turnovers and outrebounded them 53-26 including a 21-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by KOS's players. The winners were led by the former international forward Pia Jurhar (190-1995, college: Portland St.) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 18 points and 18 rebounds and forward Sina Hollerl (175-2006) supported her with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Even 11 points by Slovenian forward Sara Feratovic (183-2001) did not help to save the game for KOS. Slovenian forward Alina Seher (173-2001) added 0 points and 8 rebounds. BK Duchess have an impressive 11-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 11-0 record. KOS at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost. BK Duchess will meet DBBC Graz (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. KOS will play against Timberwolves and hopes to get finally their first victory.
