Regular Season Round 19: Naestved - Amager 101-74
Date: February 19, 2022
No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Naestved (13-5) crushed at home bottom-ranked Amager (0-17) 101-74 on Saturday. Naestved shot the lights out from three sinking 24 long-distance shots on high 63.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Naestved made 8 blocks. American guard Brevin Pritzl (191-1996, college: Wisconsin, agency: GoEmpire Group) notched a double-double by scoring 30 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and international Mathias Christensen (202-1995) supported him with 22 points (perfect from downtown making all seven shots !!!). Four Naestved players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds by American forward Derrick Woods (203-1997, college: St.Peter's) did not help to save the game for Amager. His fellow American import guard Mitch Pelissier (190-1997, college: Concordia, IL) added 17 points and 5 assists. Amager's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Naestved have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Loser Amager still closes the standings.
