Very expected game in Eisenstadt where 6th ranked Alligators (1-13) were defeated by second ranked Nord Dragonz (12-3) 74-59 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Nord Dragonz. Alligators managed to win second period 15-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Nord Dragonz forced 20 Alligators turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Alligators' players. Naturalized Canadian power forward Jordan Roberts (198-1995) fired 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Serbian center Marko Kolaric (213-1984, college: Chaminade) chipped in 9 points and 15 rebounds. Nord Dragonz's coach Felix Jambor used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Serbian guard Nikica Nikolic (192-2000) produced 14 points and 6 rebounds and Simon Okoro added 10 points and 13 rebounds respectively for lost side. Nord Dragonz keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Panthers. Alligators lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 13 games lost. Nord Dragonz will meet at home Worthersee Piraten (#5) in the next round. Alligators will play against Flames in Vienna and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
