Everything went according to plan when third ranked Aschersleben (13-6) defeated on the road 14th ranked Bramsche (5-16) 87-76 on Saturday. Aschersleben dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Bramsche's 36. American-Nigerian forward Udun Osakue (198-1992, college: SF State, agency: Interperformances) nailed 27 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and Leo Alban (198-1999) accounted for 16 points. American center Cole Walker (206, college: Ferris St.) came up with 26 points and 8 rebounds and Moritz Dresing (194-2001) added 16 points respectively for Bramsche in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Aschersleben maintains third place in North with 13-6 record having just three point less than leader Stuttgart. Bramsche lost their ninth game in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with 16 games lost.
