There was a small surprise in Chemnitz where fifth ranked Braunschweig (4-5) won against 3rd ranked NINERS (6-6) 91-76 on Sunday. Strangely NINERS outrebounded Braunschweig 41-25 including 26 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Sananda Fru (208-2003) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) and point guard Jamil Hyangho (184-2003) who added 21 points, 7 assists and 5 steals during the contest. At the losing side Nick Lasch (203-2004) responded with 17 points and 8 rebounds and Philip Schuster (187-2003) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Four NINERS players scored in double figures. NINERS's coach rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Braunschweig maintains fifth position in North B with 4-5 record. Loser NINERS keeps the third place with six games lost. They share the position with Oldenburg. Braunschweig will meet Heroes (#5) in the next round. NINERS will play against Oldenburg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
