We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when third ranked Berlin Braves (7-6) won against at home second-ranked Young Dragons (8-5) 62-58 on Sunday. Point guard Linus Briesemeister (190-2003) notched a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and Ben Defty (210-2005) supported him with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Even 16 points and 8 rebounds by Karl Buehner (198-2005) did not help to save the game for Young Dragons. Darren Aidenojie (192-2004) added 16 points for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Berlin Braves have an impressive six-game winning streak. Despite that victory Berlin Braves went down to fifth position (North) due to points difference. Loser Young Dragons keep the second place with five games lost. They share the position with Paderborn.
