Regular Season Round 12: UBI Graz - KOS 78-44
Date: February 20, 2022
Very expected game when bottom-ranked KOS (0-10) was smashed on the road by second ranked UBI Graz (8-3) 78-44 on Sunday. The game without a history. UBI Graz led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to KOS's 24. UBI Graz forced 20 KOS turnovers and outrebounded them 48-22 including a 13-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The winners were led by the former international forward Camilla Neumann (182-1994) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 23 points, 16 rebounds and 5 blocks and the former international Annika Neumann (176-1996) supported her with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 17 points by Italian guard Monika Ristic (162-2003) did not help to save the game for KOS. Slovenian forward Sara Feratovic (183-2001) added 7 points and 6 rebounds. UBI Graz have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 8-3 record having just three points less than leader BK Duchess.
