Very predictable result when eighth ranked BSV Wulfen (11-9) won against at home 14th ranked Grevenbroich (4-16) 106-97 on Tuesday. BSV Wulfen forced 20 Grevenbroich turnovers. Strangely Grevenbroich outrebounded BSV Wulfen 42-28 including a 33-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Grevenbroich's players. Point guard Manuel Bojang (184-2001) nailed a double-double by scoring 14 points, 7 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and Bulgarian swingman Lyuben Paskov (196-1990) accounted for 20 points and 4 assists. Five BSV Wulfen players scored in double figures. American guard John Murry (192-1995, college: Austin Peay) came up with 40 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and Montenegrin center Dzemal Selimovic (205-1999) added 21 points and 20 rebounds respectively for Grevenbroich in the defeat. BSV Wulfen moved-up to fourth place in West, which they share with Bonn 2 and Leverkusen 2. Grevenbroich lost their third game in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with 16 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
