Very significant was Amager's (#2, 8-4) victory against 4th ranked Herlev (4-8) 77-73. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Herlev. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 77-73. Amager forced 19 Herlev turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Teja Twitty (178, college: UNCG) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds and the former international guard Ena Viso (177-1993, college: S.Dakota St.) who added 16 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side forward Emilie Larsen (177-2001) responded with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Bianca Braikia (179-2003) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Four Herlev players scored in double figures. Herlev's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Amager maintains second position with 8-4 record having five points less than leader Falcon. Defending champion Herlev keeps the fourth place with eight games lost. Amager are looking forward to face SISU (#3) in Copenhagen in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Herlev will play at home against SISU and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
