There was a minor upset in Hamburg where 10th ranked Wolfenbuettel (7-12) was defeated by thirteenth ranked Bergedorf (7-14) 78-66 on Saturday. Bergedorf looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Wolfenbuettel's players. Croatian Matej Jelovcic (185-1998) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points, 7 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Aleksandar Postic (195-2000) chipped in a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. British-Israeli power forward Joshua Djanogly (207-1998, college: McGill) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and naturalized American point guard Anish Sharda (187-1982, college: St.Mary's, KS) added 14 points, 5 assists and 4 steals respectively for lost side. Four Wolfenbuettel players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bergedorf moved-up to twelfth place in North.
