Regular Season Round 23: Adana - Yalova Vip 62-61

The most exciting game of round 23 in the TKBL took place in Adana. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 6th ranked Yalova Vip (15-8) to seventh ranked Adana (11-12) 62-61 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Yalova Vip. Adana forced 24 Yalova Vip turnovers. It was a great evening for American-Nigerian power forward Ashley Ezeh (191-1992, college: Texas St.) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. American guard Cierra Dillard (176-1996, college: Buffalo) responded with 21 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals and Fatma Icacan (-2001) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Adana maintains seventh place with 11-12 record. Yalova Vip at the other side keeps the sixth position with eight games lost.
