We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Chemnitz where fourth ranked Oldenburg (6-6) beat one of their biggest challengers NINERS (6-6) 90-75 on Sunday. Oldenburg dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to NINERS's 32. Oldenburg forced 23 NINERS turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Max Schell (200-2003) who helped to win the game recording 36 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and Boston Schroeder (192-2004) who added 18 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Nick Lasch (203-2004) responded with 16 points and 8 rebounds and Curt Kindler (193-2004) scored 18 points. Four NINERS players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Oldenburg have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position in North B with 6-6 record. Oldenburg will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. NINERS will play again against Oldenburg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
