Very important is a home loss of third ranked Galatasaray (12-6) against fourth ranked Pinar Karsiyaka (11-8) on Sunday night. Host Galatasaray was defeated by Pinar Karsiyaka in a tough game in Istanbul 65-71. It was a great evening for Yusuf Akbiyik (-2003) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Demircan Demir (-2004) helped adding 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. At the losing side Acar Sen (193-2003) responded with 24 points and Umut Sener (-2002) scored 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pinar Karsiyaka maintains fourth place with 11-8 record. Loser Galatasaray keeps the third position with six games lost. They share it with Darussafaka.
