There was a small surprise when thirteenth ranked TED Ankara (8-12) edged at home 11th ranked Kagitspor (8-12) 72-69 on Sunday. American point guard Keshun Sherrill (175-1994, college: Augusta) notched 24 points to lead the effort and American-Jamaican forward Joel James (208-1994, college: UNC) supported him with 8 points and 9 rebounds. TED Ankara's coach Emrah Benli used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Even 21 points and 7 assists by American point guard Corin Henry (185-1988, college: Tarleton St.) did not help to save the game for Kagitspor. His fellow American import power forward Brady Skeens (202-1995, college: Washburn, agency: One Motive Sports) added 10 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Four Kagitspor players scored in double figures. TED Ankara moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with defeated Kagitspor. TED Ankara's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Ankara OGM Orman.
