An exciting game was played in Copenhagen. Second ranked Amager faced 4th placed SISU. Guests from Kastrup (9-4) smashed host SISU (5-7) 79-59. The game was mostly controlled by Amager. SISU was better in fourth quarter 15-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. American swingman Teja Twitty (178, college: UNCG) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international guard Ena Viso (177-1993, college: S.Dakota St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Amager players scored in double figures. The former international point guard Asta Blauenfeldt (168-2002) answered with 18 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and guard Michala Bork (178-2003) added 9 points in the effort for SISU. SISU's coach rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Amager maintains second place with 9-4 record having just three points less than leader Falcon. SISU at the other side dropped to the third position with seven games lost. Amager will play against bottom-ranked Aabyhoj (#5) on the road in the next round. SISU will play against Aabyhoj and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
