The game between closely ranked teams ended with thirteenth ranked Dorsten's (7-15) road victory over 14th ranked Grevenbroich (5-17) 114-103 on Wednesday. It was a great evening for American guard Tyler Brevard (189-1998, college: Lander) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Canadian-Polish forward Konrad Tota (196-1980, college: Dickinson St.) helped adding 23 points and 6 rebounds. Brevard is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Dorsten players scored in double figures. American guard John Murry (192-1995, college: Austin Peay) responded with 36 points (!!!) and 5 assists and Spanish Alejandro Vergara (196-1995) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists. Dorsten maintains thirteenth place in West with 7-15 record. Grevenbroich lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth position with 17 games lost. Dorsten will meet at home higher ranked Bonn 2 (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Grevenbroich will play against Deutzer (#3) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
