Bottom-ranked Delikatesas managed to get a seventh victory, breaking the series of six consecutive losses. This time they outleveled thirteenth-ranked Vilnius in Joniskis 81-56. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 25-point difference suggests that Delikatesas is in a good shape to leave the bottom place. They also forced 23 Vilnius turnovers. Vilnius was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American Darion Rackley (187-1992, college: JSU) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Nedas Kancleris (208-2000) helped adding 9 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Tautvydas Baltrusaitis (204-2003) responded with 7 points and 5 rebounds and guard Jokubas Rubinas (187-2002) scored 7 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Delikatesas maintains fourteenth place with 7-27 record. Vilnius at the other side keeps the thirteenth position with 23 games lost. Delikatesas will play against higher ranked Palanga (#8) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Vilnius will play against Neptunas-Akv. (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
