KBSL top team - Fenerbahce (17-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Antalya 07 (5-15) 105-71. Fenerbahce players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Antalya 07's players. Worth to mention a quality performance of Swedish center Amanda Zahui (194-1993, college: Minnesota) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 6 rebounds and the former international point guard Serife Onar (167-1996) who added 17 points and 6 assists during the contest. Fenerbahce's coach Victor Lapena felt very confident using 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. American swingman Jaime Nared (188-1995, college: Tennessee) responded with 32 points and 8 rebounds and the former international center Candide Ozturk (188-1989) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Five Fenerbahce and four Antalya 07 players scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains first position with 17-2 record. Antalya 07 lost seventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth place with 15 games lost. They share the position with Kayseri. Fenerbahce will play against Bursa (#5) at home in the next round. Antalya 07 will play against Hatay (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
