Very predictable result when seventh ranked Acibadem (13-10) won against on the road 14th ranked Buyukcekmece (5-16) 95-81 on Saturday. Acibadem looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Buyukcekmece's players. The winners were led by the former international center Oguz Savas (213-1987) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Jamar Smith (191-1987, college: S.Indiana, agency: Inception Sports) supported him with 12 points and 8 assists. Even 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists by American point guard Jordon Crawford (168-1990, college: BGSU) did not help to save the game for Buyukcekmece. Ukrainian center Volodymyr Gerun (208-1994, college: Portland) added 20 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Acibadem maintains seventh position with 13-10 record. Buyukcekmece at the other side keeps the fourteenth place with 16 games lost. Acibadem will meet bottom-ranked Socar Petkim (#16) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
