Undefeated leader Emlak delivered the twenty fourth consecutive victory. This time they crushed bottom-ranked Samsun (0-24) 98-34 in Istanbul. Emlak dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Samsun's 18. Emlak forced 26 Samsun turnovers and outrebounded them 55-28 including a 26-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Samsun's players. It was a good game for Irem Akat (-2001) who led her team to a victory with 26 points and 4 assists. Binnur Aydogmus (-2000) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Emlak players scored in double figures. Guard Neslihan Demir (174-1999) replied with 10 points and 6 rebounds and Sila Arslanoglu added 9 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Samsun. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Emlak (24-0) have an impressive 24-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 24 victories in a row. Samsun at the other side still closes the standings. Emlak will play against Edremit (#5) in Balikesir in the next round. Samsun will play at home against the league's second-placed Botas GA (#2) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
