No shocking result in a game when third ranked Vienna United (7-3) crushed at home bottom-ranked KOS (0-12) 81-35 on Saturday. The game without a history. Vienna United led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding KOS to just 5 points in first quarter. Vienna United dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to KOS's 10 and had 20 for 33 from the free-throw line, while KOS only scored one point from the stripe. Vienna United forced 27 KOS turnovers and outrebounded them 55-20 including a 23-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Bettina Kunz (180-1999) notched 18 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) to lead the effort and center Antonia Reissner (189-1999) supported her with 7 points and 12 rebounds. Vienna United's coach Stefan Hoellerl felt very confident using 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 18 points by Italian guard Monika Ristic (162-2003) did not help to save the game for KOS. Slovenian forward Alina Seher (173-2001) added 6 points for the guests. Vienna United have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 7-3 record having eleven points less than leader BK Duchess. Loser KOS still closes the standings with 12 games lost.
