ProA top team - Seawolves (20-6) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixteenth ranked Eagles (3-21) in Rostock 100-81. Seawolves made 17-of-19 charity shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of American guard Jordan Roland (185-1997, college: Northeastern) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and the other American import point guard Chris Carter (193-1992, college: Florida Tech) who added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Seawolves' coach Christian Held allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side swingman Lucien Schmikale (194-1997) responded with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and American Christopher Hooper (198-1991, college: SFC) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Seawolves maintains first position with 20-6 record. Eagles lost tenth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the sixteenth place with 21 games lost. Seawolves will play against bottom-ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (#17) in Allmendingen in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Eagles will play at home against Artland Dragons and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
