No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked OrangeAcademy (12-7) beat 6th ranked Skyliners II (10-10) in Ulm 90-85 on Sunday. OrangeAcademy outrebounded Skyliners II 42-31 including 29 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by American Jacob Ensminger (193-2004) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and Austrian David Fuchs (198-2003) supported him with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four OrangeAcademy players scored in double figures. Even 16 points and 7 rebounds by center Alexander Richardson (201-2003) did not help to save the game for Skyliners II. Jordan Samare (202-2002) added 15 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. OrangeAcademy maintains fourth position in South with 12-7 record. Loser Skyliners II keeps the sixth place with ten games lost. OrangeAcademy will meet Speyer (#5) on the road in the next round. Skyliners II will play against Rackelos and hope to secure a win.
