Ehingen/Urspringschule's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after 24 consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Schwenningen (10-15) 81-76 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Tyler Cheese (196-1996, college: Akron) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Spanish center Bernat Vanaclocha (212-1998, college: Polk State CC) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Four Ehingen/Urspringschule players scored in double figures. American Grant Sitton (206-1993, college: Victoria) replied with 25 points and 9 rebounds and naturalized American Chris Frazier (182-1990, college: Dubuque) added 20 points in the effort for Schwenningen. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Ehingen/Urspringschule maintains seventeenth position with 1-24 record. It was Schwenningen's fourth loss in a row. They dropped to the fourteenth place with 15 games lost. Ehingen/Urspringschule are looking forward to face league's leader Seawolves in Rostock in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
